Power of Being Together
Hi,
Hope you all are enjoying your life. We are glad to welcome you to our CanDyKlickZ page. Lets move to another candyography story from our mobile photography collection. We are not waiting for the moments to be happen, instead of that we just grasp it from the events happening around us. This post is about the importance of social structure and teamwork.
Once Steve jobs told that the greatest achievements in the business are done by a team of people, not a single person. These are thoughtful words from the Genius of business. This current universe is the results of the collective efforts of our ancestors. We (JenifVincentRaj & Sukesh - Authors) are working as a team to run this blog. We are not professional bloggers but still we both giving our efforts to manage this blog. As a small achievement, our blog received 400+ views in just 15 days. We strongly believe in each other & never worried about the mistakes done by us.
Let's move on with a story from our recent KlickZ. The clicks are just a casual mobile picture but capable of teaching us a lesson. A lesson to live a life.
Moments of CanDy KlickZ: Shoulders of Gi“ANT”s
In our daily life ants are the most common sight, which we crossed without noticing it. Literally, ants are everywhere. We never gave any importance to those little creatures. Ants are the most fascinating little creatures that are capable of doing so many great things. Next time, while crossing the ants we should have to remember, most of the greatest life lessons have come from the smallest things.
Ant Photgraphy: Super GiANT |
Ants are the highly social insects, lives in well-organized colonies. I think ants are the first insects or living animal to have a civilization (ant – colonies.) with complex but well organized a social structure. They are the first city planners. They have existed even before the dinosaurs age. Lots of species got extinct but an ant community survived all the kinds of hurdles for almost 130 million years and still it has a strong Societal structure. At present there are around 12000 different ant species exists on the planet. The recent studies reveal that the total weight of all the ants in the world is greater than the total weight of the human population. Studies shows, around 1.5 million ants exist for every human being in the universe. It is much bigger than any other living beings.
Ant has so many good qualities that we should have to learn to lead a successful life. Their lifestyle is a book of wisdom for a human being.
Ants Philosophy: Life lessons from Ants
Being Social
As I already told, ants are highly social. It lives in the ant colonies. An ant colony has greatly organized but complex social structure. The typical colony structure consists of the queen ant and a huge number of productive male ants, male & sterile female ants (Workers & Soldiers). Ant colonies are the social organization where they have a set of rules to follow and each member of the colony has to do some task. They can select the tasks on their own. In the colony there are no superiors or leaders to command or schedule the tasks, everyone in the colony has a responsibility to work for a society and every ant is accountable for the life in the ant society.
There is another extended version of ant social structure that is called super colonies where a large number of ant colonies united in one large area. They are the first civilized society and city builders in the world.
Ant Philosophy: Being Social |
Every ant in the colony gathers the information from outside environment and transfers it to others. The frequent information transformation happened between the ants, which helps the ants to overcome all the hurdles in their path. There is a proper communication system between them. Ants work as a collective super-mind.
Never Give Up & Stay Positive
Once Napoleon Bonaparte told, "The word Impossible isn't in my dictionary". This quote is very true in the case of ants. Their strong communication system helps them to analysis the environment and find the alternatives to reach its goal. If any problems or obstructions appeared then it finds another way to complete the task.
Ant Philosophy: Never Give Up |
Once they started then they will never quit in-between the task, always look for another way until they achieve the task. Also, the word called "Difficulty" does not exist in their life. "No matter how difficult it is, just do it" this is the synonyms of an ant life lesson.
Think for future & Act now
This is an important lesson from an ant. Ants always think about winter in summer. They search, gather and store food for winter in summer. During the summertime, they gather the food as much as possible and preserve for the winter time.
Ant Philosophy : Think for future & Act now |
They collect the food for the whole ant colony. It is a well planned and scheduled activity by ant community.
Do it as team
Ants are the best ever example for a teamwork. I already mentioned that they work as a collective super-mind. Their social structure keeps them as a team. It always does the tasks with the team. Every ant has some contribution towards managing the ant colony.
A single ant can lift 20-50 times of its own body weight. So, a team it of 5 ants can lift the weight of 100-250 ants. The real giant shoulders.

Conclusion
Ants are the real super giants with super power. They are the little insects have achieved big. They always find a way to survive in all kind of situations. As a team or community, they develop themselves in each stage of their life and they adapt with the situations and survived this long. Their societal structure, living lifestyle, collective team effort, never give up attitude, and flexibility are the secret formulas of success for ant. We can take them as our role models to live our lives.
Even these small insects learn to live with the coordination, respect and love for other members in the colony, but we humans discriminate others in the name of caste, skin color, religion, gender, and wealth. It is not good for our human society. We have to give respect to others and learn to work as a team without showing any racism.
